Storage Options

• Bonded Goods – Customs warehousing for storage of dutiable dry goods.

From short-term to long-term, racked or Bulk, requests for storage comes in many shapes and sizes. At 3P Logistics we are able to accommodate most storage requirements with flexible terms to suit. Our Storage facilities are HMRC (Bonded Warehousing)and UKWA accredited and are fully alarmed with 24 hour Red Care response and CCTV in operation.

In catering for online e-tailers we offer pigeon hole type pick faces and shelving whilst for the larger industrial clients both Racked and bulk storage is utilized.
Flexible “Pay as you use” storage is a cost effective answer for our clients as opposed to the burden of overheads normally associated with in-house self managed operations.
 
Storage requests come in a varying degree of size and complexity.
From Racked and Shelving storage to Bulk storage, 20 pallets to 3,000 pallets most customer requirements can be accommodated.

Storage By Type

The nature of the product i.e. Weights and Dimensions plus the profile of the account i.e. fast or slow moving goods determine the type of storage required.

Bin Storage
Normally combined with a degree of shelving storage this type of storage is suited to the smaller low value retail items or a spare parts service. The bins come in three sizes and are normally situated within the shelving areas.

Shelving Storage
Normally combined with a degree of racked storage, our shelving is a popular choice for e-fulfillment clients and secure document storage. All locations are clearly labeled for ease of reference whilst all pick bins are accessible from ground floor level.

Racked Storage
At 3PL we look at the most cost effective way to store your goods.
We appreciate that pallet storage comes in many different shapes and sizes and one size doesn`t fit all.  Our racking is adapted to suit and we able to offer quarter, half and full pallet storage based on the dimensions of your goods.

With heavy duty racking as standard we are able to accommodate pallets up to 1000 kg in weight. All of our racking is installed by qualified engineers and undergoes periodic inspection.

Bulk Storage
Providing the product is suitable for stacking high then bulk storage is a viable option. In maximizing the square footage allocated, the goods would be relatively slow moving whilst stock rotation wouldn`t normally be a main requirement.
