On April 22ND - 24TH 3P Logistics will be exhibiting at Multi-Modal NEC - Hall 10.
Ian Walker MD adds:
"Following a successful showing at Logistics Link last year we have decided to exhibit again this year. In a traditional industry we seek the "untraditional" & our stand this year will be testimony to our belief.

We believe that strong working relations are built upon "partnership & compatibility" hence our theme this year is very much focused around sourcing customers that are compatible with our ethos & service offering. At 3PL we also believe there to be scope for "fun" in business hence our "speed dating" theme will adopt a light hearted approach to sourcing our ideal partners. If outsourced logistics is a consideration of yours come & see us at stand 114 for a logistics speed date with a difference. See www.multimodal.org.uk for your complimentary ticket

We pride ourselves on our consistently high service levels & are one of very few logistics providers who openly “embrace” performance measurement.

Kirsty Fryers – Key Account coordinator comments:

This can include actively identifying root cause failure further down/up stream within our clients supply chain. Nestle call on 3PL early 2008
bulthaupDuring the run up to Xmas 07 3PL received a short notice call requesting handling & temporary storage for up to 2000 pallets. The task involved receiving all 2000 pallets across the one weekend and likewise the ability to despatch the 200 pallets across a 48 hour window in early January 08. Wayne Dullaghan - 3PL Operations Manager comments:

"The logistics game quite often throws up surprise challenges & this occasion was no different. The immediate task was to instigate 24 hour working at short notice. The team responded magnificently to the challenge & the operation passed without a hitch. It is extremely encouraging to know that the engine can run faster when required & a "can do" mentality exists within the team."

The stamp of approval: - 3PL achieve ISO 9001
Following months of intense internal & external auditing 3P Logistics have achieved ISO 9001 accreditation. Wayne Dullaghan - Operations Manager was particularly involved in the drafting of operational procedures (SOP`s) & adds:

"As an organization where quality is an everyday theme this was a natural step for us to take. Given the nature of our business the process was intense at times yet rewarding. Too many businesses make the mistake of "getting the badge" rather than seeing this accreditation as a structured vehicle in which to manage "best practice". We see this accreditation as major differentiator in the market place."
