A continuation peak season activities has put the third party fulfilment operator in prime position to see its strongest Christmas performance to date.
Ian Walker, managing director of 3P Logistics Ltd, said: “As a multi-user fulfilment company Christmas is a vital trading period for a large chunk of our client base. The further shift towards online shopping coupled with the increased hype around Black Friday as an recurring event has seen a seismic shift in the operational landscape. We have made a number of investments in our technology infrastructure and key personnel in the last 12 /24 months and this has given us the added capacity to facilitate such peaks on behalf of our clients. Following a hugely successful peak season trading period we are already contemplating what next Christmas has in store ”.
“With just a week or so to go until the big day, we have already surpassed all previous peak season volumes making this the single biggest Christmas season we have ever seen and a real pat on the back to Team 3PL albeit we can`t take the foot off the gas just yet !”
