The business operates across multiple sales channels, including its own eCommerce website and retail distribution through partners, including Holland & Barrett. This model requires a flexible fulfilment approach, capable of managing both direct-to-consumer (D2C) orders and retail replenishment efficiently some of which are temperature sensitive.
As demand for its products increased in the UK, the USA business sought to improve delivery speed and reduce reliance on overseas fulfilment from its main distribution centre in the USA. Longer cross-border lead times were impacting customer expectations, particularly as demand for faster domestic delivery continued to rise.
