3PL announces executive leadership team

3P Logistics (3PL) has assembled a new executive leadership team. The news follows a record year of sales growth as the business seeks to capitalise further on market opportunities underpinned by a three-year growth plan.

The newly formed leadership team includes:

Ian Walker, Founder and Managing Director will serve as Chief Executive Officer. He possesses over 30 years of cross-functional experience acquired in multiple management roles and has been at the helm of the 3PL business since founding the Company in 2006, Ian has played an instrumental role in steering the business to its present-day mid-market positioning and its preparedness for future growth.

David Holland, previously Finance Director, he will serve as Chief Financial Officer. Having supported a portfolio of ambitious entrepreneurial stakeholders he plays a pivotal role in the financial management, governance, and strategic direction. He joined 3PL in 2016 and has 20 years of experience in finance across multiple disciplines including strategic planning, and investor relations.

Andrew Hill, previously Sales Director at Sorted Group, he will serve as Chief Commercial Officer. With over two decades of eCommerce delivery experience and a proven track record of SAAS evolution and building customer relations.

3PL will focus its future strategy on enhancing the customer experience to maximise stakeholder value. This renewed focus will comprise the business being true to its purpose, mission, vision, and its values which in turn will realise operational excellence and achieve customer loyalty.

With a clear comprehension of the target market and sector differentiators, the business will remain resilient throughout its growth journey.

3PL’s activities are organised into business units led by functional heads comprising eCommerce fulfilment (D2C), retail fulfilment (B2B), network delivery, technologies (SAAS), and value-added Services (VAS).

The functional heads report to the executive leadership team and are based out of the Company’s HQ in Greater Manchester, England.
